Dr. Bryony Bamford is a highly specialist Clinical Psychologist, registered with the British Psychological Society and Health Professions Council. Dr Bamford has been working with psychological conditions for over 10 years and has specialised in the treatment of eating and weight disorders and their common comorbidities (depression, low self esteem, obsessive compulsive disorder). In 2013 Bryony founded The London Centre for Eating Disorder and Body Image in central London where she bases her private practice. Dr. Bamford is also an honorary senior research fellow at St. Georges, University of London where she has been instrumental in developing treatment and approaches for severe and enduring anorexia nervosa. Bryony has published a large number of journal artiles and books and regularly teaches and presents at national and international conferneces.
