As a Staff-level Backend & Platform Engineer and Tech Lead at Amazon with 12+ years of experience, I've shipped systems handling 2.5B+ requests, led launches reaching 100M+ users, and driven engineering decisions that reduced latency by 10x, cut abandonment by 85%, and saved hundreds of engineering-months of operational overhead. I specialize in distributed systems, subscription and monetization platforms, and identity & auth infrastructure — and I serve as a Bar Raiser for System Design, Change Control and Release, and Privacy, and Security.

Before Amazon, I was the founding engineer and Chief Software Architect at Applied Research Works, where I designed and built an AI-powered cloud EHR platform adopted by 10+ healthcare clients. I led the full stack, from high-throughput ML pipelines processing 1M+ clinical notes per month, to risk prediction models for CHF, COPD, and Diabetes deployed inside Epic, Elation, and Cerner — enabling $2M+ in revenue and measurably improving patient outcomes. That chapter gave me a deep foundation in healthcare SaaS, data interoperability, and taking zero-to-one products from idea to production.

Outside engineering, I advise on product strategy and technology direction across teams and organizations. When I'm not building systems, I'm following cricket, football, and tennis, diving into books, tracking markets, or experimenting in the kitchen.
