As the first person in my family to graduate from college, I understand not only how great of an accomplishment it is and the decision making process that goes into continuing your education. Nothing makes me feel more proud than knowing I earned my bachelor’s degree and that I was able to celebrate that accomplishment with my family and friends.

It’s my connection to my degree that makes it so rewarding to have the opportunity to guide students into their first classes and into their first college, in many cases. I’m so proud to work with each and every one of my students and I always look forward to seeing them walk the stage at graduation each year.

One piece of advice I always give to my students is to practice good time management. It’s the key to success and you should never be afraid to ask for help.

When I’m out of the office I participate in an all-women’s bowling league (don’t laugh!) and I’ve already gotten my high game up to 198. A perfect 300 won’t be far behind, I know it. Away from the alleys, I enjoy staying active. Whether that means walking my two dogs (a pug and a pitbull), playing tennis or doing yoga, I love to exercise. I even plan on running in a few 5K races this summer.

Down the line I see myself traveling a bit more. But in the meantime my focus is on my career and the students I get to work with each and every day. I’m looking forward to speaking with you soon!
