I joined Mesa Community College in 2023. Previously, I served as assistant director of marketing and communications for the College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University, overseeing day-to-day marketing operations at a large academic unit. Prior to joining ASU in 2017, I was a journalism instructor in The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University. My portfolio included teaching intensive media writing courses and advising a student radio station.

I ran the student newspaper program at Green River College in Auburn, Washington, for two years. Before entering academia, I worked at the Student Press Law Center in Washington, D.C.
