With a Master’s Degree Human Factors/Applied Experimental Psychology (focusing in Human-Computer Interaction; namely educational software design), Balazs brings to the table a firm skill-set rooted in the deployment of user centered system design methodology in the interdisciplinary product development process. From system conceptualization, use case model development, wireframing, usability testing, user interface design guideline development (including process flows), to creative direction; Balazs serves a pivotal role in leading and coordinating user interface design development activities. With the experience of having worked at the Art Center College of Design, and on projects for Microsoft, Scholastic, CAPCOM, Warner Bros., and The Walt Disney Company (including ABC News), Balazs has a wide range of experiences in the development of user-centric applications for the interactive market place. Balazs has evangelized UX Design and Usability in various industries, including on entertainment, advertising, education, corporate training, distance learning, real estate, insurance, financial, social networking, and social good projects.

Balazs is excellent at coming in at the early stages of product development to understand the information space on which a product will be based, flushing out the user needs and functional requirements for a product, wireframimg, authoring UI design guidelines, developing process flows, conducting heuristic usability evaluations and formal usability tests, and leading the development team to ensure that the UI design specifications are effectively implemented.
