I’ve been with Bryant & Stratton for nearly three years now and there’s nothing like seeing a student graduate. I’ll never forget seeing one of my student’s names on the list of upcoming graduates. I remember working with her every step of the way and how motivated she was to earn her degree. To see her achieve that goal was so fulfilling for me.

We have a very tight-knit group here and we all enjoy seeing our students succeed. That shared goal makes the office a very supportive atmosphere. I know that if I’m sick or out of the office for another reason that my teammates will be there to give my students the same support I provide to them. It works both ways, of course, as I’m always there to support my teammates as well.

I love the atmosphere though because we’re all able to share stories and experiences from our students. I love having the chance to connect and learn about each and every student’s goals and traits. It makes me look forward to work every day.

I’m a self-proclaimed DIY nut. I LOVE to do DIY projects and even made my own Rubik’s Cube as a Halloween costume one year. I get a lot of my ideas from Pinterest and I make sure all of my creations are on display around the holidays.

One other interesting fact about me is that I collect rotary phones. It’s tough enough to find a land line these days but there’s something really cool about the old rotary phones. I think my fascination with them has to do with my grandmother who had a rotary phone for the longest time and I remember having to use it whenever we were over there. It’s getting harder to expand my collection though as it’s getting tougher to find new styles and colors out there.

So, if you know of anyone with a cool rotary phone, let me know. I’m always on the lookout for a new addition to the collection.
