Are you familiar with the TV show Let’s Make A Deal with Wayne Brady? If you are you may have seen me on an episode a few years ago. I was a studio guest and actually got picked to participate in one of the games. While I managed to win the grand prize (a jetski) I didn’t think it was something I’d ever be able to use – on account of not knowing how to jetski – and decided to part ways with it.
As luck would have it, I learned to jetski this past summer and now I’m kicking myself for selling my prize from my silver screen debut. I suppose I’ll just need to find my way back to Let’s Make a Deal or perhaps the Showcase Showdown on Price Is Right.
I’ve also recently begun a Master’s degree program in business as a follow up to my bachelor’s degree in business which I earned from Baker College. Like you, I went through the college search and enrollment process online and now I’m taking classes online.
I know how the steps can be stressful and even confusing sometimes. What I’m here to do is offer you the support needed to make this entire process a breeze. I’m here to answer questions, provide assistance and simply be someone to talk to as you work towards beginning your degree.
Don’t be shy about staying in touch once you’ve started classes either. I LOVE hearing from students I’ve worked with. I remember one girl was really concerned about passing her math class and she called me each and every week to give progress reports because she was so excited about how well she was doing. As someone who is anything but an expert in mathematics, it was awesome to hear how excited she was when she got an A in the class.
