Beryl Snyder
Austin, Texas
Originally from Ohio (Go Buckeyes!), I am a network engineering professional who has lived in Texas on and off over the past ten years, and who currently makes Austin my home.
A 2006 graduate of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, I hold a B.S. in Computer Science, and have worked in various network, Linux, and systems engineering and IT support roles in the Austin area.
I have also studied and expanded upon my professional skills in New Mexico, where I was a graduate student at New Mexico State University, as well as working for ISP Fastwave.biz and TMC Design Corp, an engineering firm.
In Austin I have worked as a systems engineer at Nucleoware, a trading/auction startup.
I am currently employed at Hostway a Datacenter in Austin, where I enjoy creating technical solutions for both systems and users.
I spend my personal time programming “whatever”, attending Linux and Python Meetups here in Austin, listening to audio books, visiting and playing games with friends and family, and watching really bad movies.
