dog walker and Student in Woodstock, Georgia

Read my blog

Greetings, I’m Brooke. I’m a dog walker/student living in Woodstock, Georgia. I am a fan of make-up, animals, and fashion. My hobbies include video games and reading. I struggle with three auto-immune disorders, that impact my entire body. I have Junenile Rhematoid Arthritis( JRA), Fibromyalia, and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.

I was recently diagnosed with JRA a year ago since then I have had five different procedures, ranging from my jaw to my dominant hand. JRA mainly attacks the body's joints and other organs such as the eyes, etc. I also developed the Fibromyalia shortly after the JRA. But it was not a surprise to me that I had more than one auto-immune disease. The more auto- immune disorders someone has they have a bigger risk or developing more. Fibromyalgia is a disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain with symptoms such as fatigue, sleep, memory and mood issues. Lastly, Hashimoto's disease is a condition in which your immune system attacks your thyroid, a small gland at the base of your neck. I have been struggling with my diseases for as long as I remember. My Hashimoto's was discovered when I was 11 years old, while my JRA was not found until I was 18. Although many doctors believed I was born with it considering all the damage that happened to my body. I am constantly in pain and it never goes away. I am a chronic illness warrior.
