Rev. Napolean Edwards is part of a new generation of ministers committed to preaching prophetically that the message of love and justice are inseparable companions forming the foundation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has been gifted by God to communicate across racial lines and generations. His anointing of God allows him to humbly present Gods word in a way that have inspired young and old. His paradigm shift in preaching has made Rev Edwards a popular speaker on campuses, and churches and conferences across the country. Rev Edwards is a native of Rockford, Il, an a graduate of Jackson State University . Rev Edwards is highly influence by the works of Dr C J Lumumba , Howard Thurman, Zen Music and Jazz . The work and Legacy of Dr.Martin Luther King Jr and the spiritual fathers of Dr. Louis Malone , Dr. Jerry Young and Dr. Danny Hollins these men having been the primary mentors of his spiritual development . He is the former Pastor of Pilgrim Church in Jackson, Ms and Prince of Peace Ministries in Brandon, Ms. Rev. Edwards currently serves on several city boards and travels abroad preaching and teaching Gods word. Rev Edwards is a author and is currently working on a book entitled Broken, Bruise and Blessed some of his work has appeared in The African American Pulpit Journal Rev. Edwards is a ordained minister in the National Baptist Convention and Apostolic Faith which makes him such a humble servant, He serves as a Chaplin for the Hinds County Sheriff Department. Rev. Edwards believes family is essential and that the fabric of family is at a vital point in America. Rev Edwards is adamant about eradicating voter apathy among Blacks to the Republican Party Rev. Edwards is a conserative and believes in the trational marriage of man and woman .
