Bufus Outlaw Jr

As CEO of BOE Securities, Inc., Bufus Outlaw Jr draws upon more than three decades of experience in the financial services sector to provide investment research services to institutional clients, including some of the world's largest money managers. Mr. Outlaw launched the investment research boutique in 1997 and has grown it into a multi-national firm. Bufus Outlaw Jr. utilizes a value-based approach in the stock analysis as opposed to one that is based on earnings-per-share.

Before establishing BOE Securities, Bufus Outlaw Jr. worked seven years as principal and director of research at Sturdivant & Company. Here, he performed large-cap stock research and recommended high-value stocks for portfolio inclusion. Mr. Outlaw has additional financial analysis experience at Ryder Systems and First Bank System.

Bufus Outlaw Jr. is a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and National Black MBA Association. He holds an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Howard University. He was a four-year letterman on the varsity football team. In his free time, Mr. Outlaw enjoys following local sports teams and visiting museums.
