Buki Koshoni is a Contemporary Portrait Photographer. His love for fashion, film and the human form, permeates all his work. His intimate, contemporary photography draws the audience into a fascinating exploration of culture, gender, ethnicity and sexuality. “The subject of personal identity has always been an ongoing conversation in my personal life. I like to shoot narrative portraits, placing people in costumes and situations that either complement, validate or disassemble their public or personal persona.” Passion, courage and creativity have inspired him to expand his vision across prints, books and clothing. Since graduating from St Martins, Buki has released a number of books and prints; as well as directing music videos and TV programmes. Based in London, he is available for portrait commissions, advertising and editorial assignments.
