I am very passionate about the less privileged people in Nigeria & I volunteer for The Destiny Trust, an NGO that helps rehabilitate and empower children who are struggling with homelessness and other vulnerabilities. My passion has led me to Ohio university for a master's degree in the Communication and Development Studies Program. My research for my master’s program ties into my professional goal which is to advocate for homeless/destitute children so they can have a comfortable and sustainable life off the streets in Nigeria. Recently, my volunteer work has focused on the homeless community through the destiny trust, an NGO that helps homeless children and most of my contribution to the cause has been through social media advocacy for fundraising and general awareness of the existent needs and how individuals or organizations can do more to aid this cause. My favorite quote is ‘When you get, give. When you learn, teach’ by Maya Angelou and this summarizes my value system perfectly.
