Our Story
In June 2012, my family and I watched a BBC4 documentary about Ukraine’s "forgotten Children". The programme was very moving and brought the whole family to tears. We felt we needed to do something to help bring the pain and suffering of these children to an end.

Having been unemployed for the past 4 years and subsequently in debt, you can imagine we did not have much to offer materialistically. And trying to make our own ends meet, a healthy donation to the supporting charity - Hope & Homes for Children, was out of the question. So what could we do?

We contacted Hope & Homes for Children and they suggested fund raising events, and this got the ball rolling. After batting ideas about between us, we realized, what we did have was a ........car.

It had taken me 3 years, but i had just finished restoring it. It is very eye catching in bright yellow, and heads always turn to see it. People are always remarking on it and are generally very interested. So we decided we could use our car to raise funds for the charity and to help raise their profile. And so, Bumble Rally was born.
