Originally starting out my life as a zoo keeper, I have now made the transition from animals to people. I am a qualified midwife (with a range of experience across the country, from North to South), and now offer bespoke birth & parenthood preparation - Birth ROCKS & Baby ROCKS. I have now lived in London for the last 3 years, having finally settled in West London (but will always be a Northerner at heart!).

I have a passion for pregnancy, childbirth and beyond, and find nothing more exciting than meeting new families and supporting them as they embark on the biggest journey of their lives. My special interests are perinatal mental health issues (such as antenatal and postnatal depression and OCD) and also infant feeding, and I'm always looking for ways to maintain and develop my knowledge further.

In my spare time I enjoy keeping active outdoors both on my bicycle and on foot, and like nothing more than exploring the hidden beauty of the South when time allows :)

The past year has inflicted me with chronic back problems, however, I refuse to let it stop me from enjoying fresh air, beautiful places, and, of course supporting women and their families at this precious time!
