Oluwabunmi Ajilore is the Foresight Adviser for the Global Forum on Agricultural Research (GFAR) Secretariat at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations(FAO).

Bunmi is a development expert with varied work experience with international organisations such as GFAR, CTA, CIAT (and the CGIAR Climate Research Program, CCAFS), YPARD, GLF Youth Program, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Foundation and others.

During this time, he has worked and lived in 4 countries, 3 regions (continents) of the world, and has managed activities in several countries across regions.

Presently, he is the Foresight Lead at the GFAR Secretariat at FAO in Rome - with focus on agricultural development foresight and future studies, collective actions and re-appropriating rural futures by local stakeholders.

In all, he has worked as a foresight expert - especially in areas of grassroots foresight, development programmes/research associate, science communications and content consultant, in agricultural climate adaptation, agricultural and rural development futures, and in ICT and youth in agriculture programmes and projects - including a few other areas.
