Bunmi Banjo
Organizational Psychologist, strategist, and founder in Canada
I’m Max Banjo — a strategist, founder, and organizational psychologist with over 25 years of experience helping institutions turn purpose into measurable progress.
I currently lead ImplementIQ, a strategy and intelligence firm that works with global companies, philanthropic institutions, and public agencies to operationalize transformation across social impact, sustainability, and organizational growth. Our platform, Qasper, equips teams to track, evaluate, and communicate progress with clarity, rigor, and trust.
I also serve as Managing Director of Kuvora Inc., a discreet consulting practice supporting senior leaders in navigating complex organizational challenges, aligning strategy with execution, and driving operational excellence across the U.S., Canada, Africa, and the Middle East.
Earlier in my career, I spent a decade working in education and public service, then transitioned into leadership roles in financial services and energy — including positions at Chevron, Discover Financial Services, and TD Bank. From 2012 to 2018, I led Brand & Reputation for Google in Africa, where I conceptualized and launched Digital Skills for Africa, a large-scale training initiative that reached over 10 million people across 50+ countries and became the model for Grow with Google globally.
Following my tenure at Google, I advised UNESCO on global AI principles as part of their Global AI Ethics initiative. Since 2018, my focus has been on helping organizations build systems that scale with integrity — and guiding leaders as they evolve how they lead, measure, and grow.
I write and speak about identity-rooted leadership, data-aligned systems, and the intersections of strategy, culture, and transformation — especially for women of color navigating global institutions.
My insights have been featured in CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera, CNBC, TechCrunch, and the Financial Times.
I hold a PhD in Organizational Psychology, an MBA from Kellogg, and a BSc from the University of Toronto, with additional executive education from Cambridge and Wharton.
