I had the unique fortune to be born in Bulgaria and to witness one of the biggest economic transitions of our time. As communism fell in 1989, Bulgaria was thrown on the bumpy road to a free market economy. In less than a decade, we lived through hyperinflation, bank panics, political riots, and currency devaluation. I witnessed a whole nation losing its livelihood almost overnight. And I witnessed the devastating social consequences of mass poverty and societal polarization.That led me to embark on a mission – to do what I can to improve the lives of others. I soon discovered the power of entrepreneurship in impacting the world when harnessed for the benefit of mankind. That is why I dedicated myself to building high-impact companies – companies that address major problems facing mankind. I am honored and humbled to have worked with some of the world’s brightest entrepreneurs who are driven by the same purpose as I am – changing the world for the better.
