Theresa Buntyn
Teacher in Monument Colorado
I’m a science teacher, lifelong learner, and avid explorer who believes curiosity makes life more interesting. In the classroom, I teach biology and anatomy & physiology, helping students connect scientific concepts to the world around them while creating an environment where all learners can succeed.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me with a good science fiction novel, planning my next adventure, or spending time outdoors with my dogs. I love hiking, road trips, discovering hidden gems, and experiencing new places—especially if they involve beautiful scenery, great food, or a local brewery. I’m drawn to stories and experiences that inspire wonder, whether that’s through books like Project Hail Mary and Red Rising or by exploring a trail I’ve never seen before.
