Burhan Kamal is a Product Director and works with Confidential OTT/IOT start up companies in Dubai. With fifteen years of globally diverse experience in the technological world under his belt, Mr. Kamal has shared his unique background with the Middle East, helping a multitude of companies reach high success rates.

After living in various countries around Europe and Asia, Burhan Kamal has developed a vital cultural awareness that he has used to excel in his career. He received his BA from Richmond, the American International University in London, where he studied International Business and Political Science. Soon after, Mr. Kamal went on to earn a Business Planning and Modeling Program degree at Etisalat Academy in Abu Dhabi, and later received a certificate in a Marketing and Consumer Behavior course in the United Kingdom. Mr. Kamal’s strong understanding of how different countries interact with each other and how certain cultures interact as a whole has helped him develop various marketing and communication strategies to further the success of multiple businesses, including his own.

At his current job as Product Director, Mr. Kamal has learned to take on various responsibilities that require an adequate amount of attention to detail. Some of his duties include: identifying and sourcing developmental products in the IOT space, negotiating preferential pricing and inventory terms, consulting with large data-collecting boutiques, and equipment and package bundling using core business services.

Mr. Kamal has been noted for various achievement throughout his career. In the past decade, he has launched the first ever “Smart Home” in the Middle East, helping further the development of some of the Emirates’ largest residential expansions through IBM. Burhan has also made technological improvement for notable companies including Etisalat, OSN, Mobile Operator Vodafone, and Philips. In Etisalat, Mr. Kamal helped expand the Cable TV and IPTV business to reach two in five households within five years.
