Burk Hufnagel

I have been creating positive user experiences since 1978 as a Software Architect and Developer. As someone who spends much of my time designing and crafting software, I've made a habit of creating practical solutions for difficult problems.

I've been speaking about the importance of user experience and how to create good ones at conferences like JavaOne, DevNexus, and the IT Architect Regional Conference in Atlanta for several years. In 2010, the audience voted me a JavaOne Rock Star for my talk on Use Experience Anti-Patterns.

As an author, I'm proud to say that two of the "97 Things Every Software Architect Should Know" and two of the "97 Things Every Programmer Should Know" (both published by O'Reilly) were written by me.
