I am a teacher living in Waxahachie, Texas who is passionate about education, technology, innovation, and helping diverse populations.

I believe that educators and administrators should teach students to utilize problem solving, flexibility, and creativity to prepare for the future regardless of their career aspirations. Technology can be successfully integrated into all traditional subject areas to better prepare students for an increasingly technologically dependent world.

I also believe that it is imperative for teachers and administrators to make real connections with students including reaching out to diverse student populations. Every student, young and old, should feel valued as an individual within the confines of the learning environment. We must invest in all students through time spent focusing on the individual, not just "teaching the masses."
