My work covers the entire range from embedded software via kernel drivers on Windows and Linux to distributed business logic and custom application solutions.
I specialize in low-level system software engineering and high-performance software architectures for Windows, Linux and embedded platforms. I am an expert in C++, C, and C# and have in-depth knowledge of Java, Assembly, and many other programming languages, including web technologies such as Javascript, HTML, and CSS, which I routinely use in my projects.
Having worked as a contractor for many years, I am customer-focused and feel at home in project-based business as well as in product development. I work best in an agile setting and enjoy doing SCRUM.
In recent projects and positions I have had comprehensive exposure to topics from the high-voltage industry and have engineered successful solutions using the latest web technologies.
On the C++ side, I work extensivley with Boost and Qt, and am an avid fan of the improvements made in C++11 and C++14.
In my current position, I act as a product owner and lead a team of dedicated software development professionals.
Though now based in Berlin, Germany, I have in the past lived in the US and have done business in many parts of the world. I continue to operate internationally today.
