Amanda Bush
Bush is currently a junior at The University of Tennessee who is majoring in Kinesiology expected to graduate in December 2013. She has been on the Dean's list every semester and plans to attend Physical Therapy School upon completion of her undergradate studies. She has completed one hundred observation hours at two different physical therapy locations.
Although Bush has spent most of her spare time shadowing physical therpists in preparation for graduate school, she also spends her time teaching nutrition and fitness lessons to children at local elementary schools twice a week. During the summer months, she works at a day camp keeping kids active by planning daily activites that involve fitness. Bush has always made health and fitness a top priority and hopes to continue this throughout her future career.
Bush grew up in Hendersonville, Tennessee with her parents and brother. In her free time she enjoys working out, spending time with her family, reading books outside, and walking her dog. She plans to one day have her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and dedicate her time to her patients and her family.
