Butch Montano

An entrepreneur and executive with more than two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry, Butch Montano currently serves as Principal and Chief Executive Officer of MFM, LLC, in San Diego, California. Commanding a long and impressive professional background, Butch Montano began to lay the educative foundations for his career during his studies at the University of the Philippines Diliman, where he studied political science, among other topics. Subsequently, Butch Montano moved to the United States and launched a highly diversified career in business and finance, building an impeccable industry track record in the process.

In 1988, Butch Montano secured a role as Sales Manager for Southwestern Bell Mobile Services, LLC, a division of SBC Communications Inc. For the next four years, Butch Montano focused on introducing and selling cellular phone service to markets in Chicago, Illinois; St. Louis, Missouri; and other major US cities. At the end of this period, Butch Montano founded Columbia Cellular, Inc., where from 1992 through 1998, he served as Principal and President, operating as an exclusive agent of Southwestern Bell Mobile Services in Columbia, Missouri.

Following his success with Columbia Cellular, Inc., Butch Montano relocated to the West Coast and refocused his professional efforts on markets in Seattle, Las Vegas, and San Diego. With the formation of Digital PCS Inc. in 1998, Butch Montano entered into a lasting business relationship with AT&T, holding an exclusive partnership with the major telecommunications firm. Since then, Butch Montano and MFM, LLC, have nurtured one of only three exclusive partnerships with a major cellular telephone service provider in San Diego and sell mobile plans, phones, and accessories to residents throughout the greater metropolitan area.
