Butler Blue III

Woof! My name is Butler Blue III, but you can call me "Trip,"
(short for Triple). I'm the third in a line of official AKC-registered
English Bulldog mascots for Butler University, and like my predecessor
Butler Blue II, I was handpicked for this job by Kong King Kennel
in Lizton, Ind.

I was born December 23, 2011 and started on the job in
February 2012. Since then, I've trained under Blue II,
earned AKC Canine Good Citizen status, and have
been fitted with the official, custom Butler mascot
collar created by Reis-Nichols Jewelers.

As of March 9, I became the official mascot of
Butler University. I'm excited to serve as THE
Butler Bulldog for many years to come.
