Shannon Butler

I am currently studying a BA honours degree in Interior Design & Decoration. Originally from the coastal town of Falmouth in Cornwall. After taking my A levels I went onto an Art & Design Foundation course, where I learnt lots of amazing skills in textiles, photography, fine art and illustration. It was obvious when finishing that I wanted a career within the Interior Design industry. Currently i have been focusing on Wallpaper & Fabric designs and I create my current designs by hand, using a combination of painting drawing and collage. I like to create delicate yet bold contemporary designs for wall coverings and upholstery. I use natural forms and surroundings including animals and nature to inspire my work, abstracting all sorts of patterns.
