Born in New York, NY is my beginning. College moved me to Ohio where I became a good business scheduler and community outreach volunteer. After 4.5 years I moved to Dallas - Fort Worth area where my ministry role was realized. Macedonia Ministries, [New Salem BC and Salvation Army - both in OH], Pilgrim Rest BC and Prestonwood BC were great foundations to grow spiritually. The first formalization of Under The Lightpost ministry occurred 1994 and in 2004 workshops were expanded. The pen name, Maggie D was created in 2007 for book Lead Me Beside The Still Waters based on the 23rd Psalm.

From 1989 - present, I was able to get married 3 times and have 2 sons, 1 daughter and 2 grandchildren. I am grateful that I learned to TRUST God as a child and to learn to walk by faith. Those were key to my many success and the foundation I stood on during frequent life challenges. In June 2015 I received what I call my Butterfly Wings to float and soar in life. There is no more guilty or shame that made many of my choices and life lessons. So now my LIFE LESSONS are a source of information for others to gain and achieve from.
