Alyssa Buttrick

Since the day I was born, I have been surrounded by sports. No matter what I do or where I go, I feel like one of the most important things in my life is the sports world. From football, to baseball and especially basketball, I have been involved with different aspects of the sports industry. I currently am a sophomore full time Sports Management student in the Isenberg School of Management. During my first two years I have been a Student Manager for the NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball here at the University of Massachusetts. Whether it is a quick pick up game of basketball or a Sunday by my television watching football, sports are a priority in my life. I hope to in the future make a living out of my passion and do big things in the sporting industry. One major component of my passion that is unlike others is the way I am trying to make a stance for women in the sporting industry. It is a very hard field for females to break into because it has always been so male dominant, however this breakthrough is coming ladies!
