Brandon "Buzz" Smith

My professional career began at the age of 12 with "Smitty's Lawncare". After running an ad in the local paper, I built up my business to 5 clients. Luckily, I had great support from my parents because I obviously couldn't drive at the time.

My first stint in "real" sales began with Progressive Business Publications at age 16. PBP was a bi-weekly newsletter designed for executives. After a week of training, I was given a rotary phone, a list, and a script. I had nothing to lose. After about 2 weeks, I graduated to a headset, a computer, and auto-dialing. I tripled my team's sales daily and was the envy of the entire office. The only person I remember was a manager named "Mike." I actually owe him many thanks for teaching me what he did and requiring me to "stick to the process."

In high school, I sold Nextel telephones from the trunk of my car. Shortly after graduation I was fortunate enough to have a $700 Visa to begin my first business. I opened a Nextel cellular phone store. Within 2 years I owned and operated 14 different cellular store locations.

The rest is pretty much a vast combination of different trials and tribulations, which all complete the make-up of who I am today. From wireless telecommunications, health care benefits, collections, cosmetic teeth whitening, technology and networking, multi-level marketing, sales consulting, and electronic security.

I was fortunate enough to work briefly with EntreQuest in Baltimore, Maryland. It was here I was finally able to tie all of my past experiences together and truly understand who I was and what I wanted to accomplish. I learned that with the proper Mindset, anything was possible. And now, with all of the past experiences I was fortunate to encompass, I am able to apply all of my previous experience in building relationships, consultative selling, solution providing, and business management into one simple passion....The Passion of Helping Others and Making a Difference.
