Bart van Pinxteren works as a general practitioner at co-owned group practice ‘Huisartsen Oog in Al’, in Utrecht (NL). He formerly worked on guideline-development at the Dutch College of General Practitioners. With his wife and three children he recently enjoyed a six-month sabbatical in Los Angeles, where he studied eHealth and web design. He is co-founder of eHuisartsenKompas.nl and a member of the working group on ICT and eHealth for GP’s in Utrecht. Together with Hans Peucker he advises on ICT in primary care at SpinDok, and with his wife at PinK-FOX.
