Conservation Program Management in Hong Kong
Brian has over 22 years of experience in project and development technical assistance management, conservation and enforcement policy, program monitoring, and evaluation in Asia.
In 2019, he joined WWF Hong Kong (World Wide Fund for Nature) as Head of Protection of Endangered Species and Lead of the WWF Asia Pacific Counter-Illegal Wildlife Trade Hub(list of achievements). He conceptualized counter-IWT strategies, tools, and novel partnerships for the finance, transport, policy, and pandemic prevention One Health sectors with WWF, TRAFFIC, and allied organizations.
Concurrent with his position, he also serves on the following projects or initiatives:

Previously based in Bangkok, he was the Partnership Specialist and Policy Lead of the USAID Wildlife Asia Activity (Freeland). Before that, as Director of Governance, overseeing Legal, Legislation Support, M&E, and ASEAN Relations of USAID Asia's Regional Response to Endangered Species Trafficking (Freeland). Before Freeland, IUCN/TRAFFIC engaged him as Regional Project Officer of the ‘US Support Program to ASEAN-WEN.’ Before Bangkok, he was based in Manila and worked for CALD, WWF,ADB, and Ayala Corporation.
He holds a Master's in Management of Development from the University of Turin, Italy, and a BA from De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde. In 2013, Brian was recognized by Asia Society-Bank of America Merrill Lynch as an "Asia 21 Young Leader". In 2021, he received the “WWF Wildlife Award”.
