I have in the military for the past 12 years. When I went in to the Army in 2001 I wanted a technical job so I went into the communication field where I worked with data switches and line if sight antennas and phone systems. For the last four years until 2012 I changed my job to military corrections. Now that I have left the military I have hit a large road block called reality, I have been unable to secure a job that will support my family. Now I am working as a security guard for the Gadsden Goodyear plant at 10.50 an hour. I'm not greedy but this is the only job I could land, not due to my background but I think because of the job market this time of year.
