My first job was as a soccer referee. There's nothing like third grade playoffs to give you thick skin and the ability to handle disgruntled people with ease.
After graduating from high school, I spent two summers interning for a local radio station. I worked for free, spending nights and weekends participating in station events, running errands, and washing vehicles. I loved every minute of it and learned valuable lessons that have assisted the success I continue to experience.
During college I studied at the University of Paris. This lead me to majoring in French studies, however I haven't used this skill since.
Since college I've worked in the optical industry, which has been far more interesting and fun than I ever thought possible. I've studied Franklin Covey's "Four Disciplines of Execution" and been given the opportunity to help run the company's second largest division.
As of June 2013, I will have an MBA from St. Cloud State University. I am excited for the opportunity to take my career to the next level.
