Melanie Bynum

Hey, I'm Melanie, but you can call me Batman. I am an actor, dancer, artist, and I'm totally in love with volunteering. Theatre Arts is perfect and Dance Fusion is amazing. I'm obsessed with hats, rock music, quotations, and many other things. I stand up for what I believe in and I don't back down. I'm always here to help or talk if someone needs me.

In the year 2014 (currently this year), I was nominated for the Tallahassee Democrat's Volunteer of the Year Award. I was nominated in the "Students" category, and out of only five spots, I was chosen to fill one. Also in 2014, I won the Outsanding Youth Volunteer Award for my school. It is such an honor to be recognized for my work in this way, and I'm so grateful. Helping people has always made me feel amazing, so I'm just happy knowing I'm making someone's day a little brighter.
