Byron Guernsey

Byron is currently the Chief Software Engineer for GE Appliances.

His past includes massively multiplayer game development, social networking startups, and years of corporate experience. He's served as CTO for Ikotech and EnterScape, Integration Engineer at Multiplayer Games Network, Director of Software Development for World Gaming Corporation, VP of Development for iSun Networks, and Principal Technologist at GE, among other roles.

Byron started programming at age 9 and won his 5th grade science fair with his presentation on computer memory systems. To the disbelief of his teachers, he then predicted that you'd someday store the entire encyclopedia on a small chip.

Today Byron has a unique ability to see the future of technology, and along with a highly honed set of skills at software and technology development, he is leading the way in Cloud Technologies at GE. He is also founder of Mateotronix, a startup specializing in real-time analytics and guidance for brick & mortar shops.
