James Bytelaar

I am a student of the world, wanting to learn and write about sustainable development and the impact of Western culture on the environment and human health. My baccalaureate major is in Human Geography, and I am also a student of the New Media Journalism Certificate at Simon Fraser University.

My end goal is to write as well as produce video as a documentary journalist to produce change in the way we are developing the world and conducting our daily lives without making consideration for long term consequences. As much as I love living and working in Vancouver, I would also like the opportunity to work in developing countries to promote sustainable growth while maintaining their unique cultures and livelihood.
