Carlos Cordova is a banking executive, community leader, and scholar whose story is defined by perseverance, leadership, and a passion for creating opportunities for others. Originally beginning his academic journey abroad at just seventeen years old in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Carlos developed an early global perspective that shaped both his leadership philosophy and his commitment to lifelong growth. His journey to the United States marked the beginning of a new chapter built on hard work, resilience, and determination to succeed while helping others do the same.

Today, Carlos serves as a Senior Vice President and Branch Manager at Wells Fargo, where he leads branch operations with a strong focus on relationship management, operational excellence, risk oversight, team development, and community engagement. Known for his people-first leadership style, Carlos is passionate about mentoring employees, building high-performing teams, and helping clients and local businesses achieve financial success. His leadership combines operational discipline with a deep understanding of customer experience, allowing him to create environments where both employees and clients feel supported and empowered.

In addition to his banking career, Carlos proudly serves as a Trustee for the Lawrenceville Township Community Foundation, an organization dedicated to strengthening the local community through charitable initiatives, educational support, cultural enrichment, and outreach programs that improve the quality of life for residents. Through this role, Carlos actively supports efforts that promote community growth, financial literacy, youth development, and access to resources for families and local organizations.

Carlos’s academic accomplishments reflect the same level of dedication he brings to his professional and community leadership. He earned his Associate Degree in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement from Mercer County Community College before continuing his studies at Rowan University, where he completed both his Bachelor’s in Law and Justice and Master’s in Criminal Justice. His educational background has provided him with a strong foundation in ethics, law, leadership, and organizational decision-making.

Committed to continuous learning, Carlos has also earned certifications in Cybersecurity from Harvard University and Accounting from Cornell University. Additionally, he completed advanced studies in International Law and Human Resources through the International Business Management Institute in Berlin, Germany, along with professional certifications in Administrative Law, Loss Prevention, and leadership development.

As a first-generation college graduate and devoted single parent, Carlos takes pride in balancing family life, education, professional leadership, and community service.
