My name is Christian Esguerra but people call me CJ. I’m a dancer and an actor living in Toronto, Canada. I currently am attending Ryerson Univeristy in Toronto, working towards my bachelor of fine arts through a program called New Media. Meanwhile I am also pursuing my goals in the entertainment industry. I can be seen on commercials such as sportchek and on a family channel TV series called "Backstage". I first started off as a dancer when I was in grade 6 and preformed at a variety of places such as breakfast television, CP24, Much music: WE day, World Volleyball Championships, and many more. I've also competed for dance world wide in places such as England and Scotland for the UDO dance championships. Having been in the industry for so long I've worked with people such as Director X and Jade Jager Clark. After dancing for so long I wanted to expand my talents which is when I found acting. I found about acting when I was in grade 10 and started out by taking multiple classes in Toronto. I took classes at well respected studios such as Lewis Baumander Acting Studio, Armstrong Acting studio and worked with people such as Larissa Mair, Lewis Baumander and more. I then got an agent and from then on went to multiple auditions for roles in Movies, TV series and commercials. This industry is one of the most hardest industry their is due to the multiple rejections that a person could face before landing a role. I strive to keep pushing in this industry and keep working on my craft. I encourage everybody out there that is reading this to keep pushing to create a life that you want.
