Carson McCullers

Greetings, This is Carson McCullers. McCullers was a Southern Gothic Fiction author, playwright, essayist, and poet.

McCullers is known for writing stories like “The Ballad of the Sad Cafe” and “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter”

While in university she worked odd jobs. McCullers first story “Wunderkind” was published in 1936 at age 19.

Carson was an author who wrote stories with characters who are handicapped (whether physically or psychologically) and filled with the feeling of heart-wrenching despair in between the lines of pretty words.
