I would describe myself as a motivated and multifaceted individual. I am a writer,Hip Hop artist and producer, music business entrepreneur and graduate of Full Sail University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Music Business. I have spent years gaining hands-on experience in the music business and entertainment industry and making contacts as well as developing a strong network of industry professionals. Writing, whether it's music, sports, or politics or just blogging, has become a great part of my life as well. My aptetude for research help me to deliver objective commentary on a wide variety of topics. I'm very passionate about every adventure I take on in my business and personal life and look forward to opportunities for growth. I definitely consider myself self-motivated, success driven and will be a valuable addition to any team.

Although Brooklyn, NY is home, as the son of a retired military father, I spent my youth traveling to many different states and countries. I learned very early on that I would have to learn to adapt to new situations and cultures very quickly and these skills have carried me along in my career. It was on my summer vacations back home in Brooklyn that I spent with my Grandmother that developed my love and passion for music. I began writing and recording my own songs with very little means. It wasn't long after my family got orders to relocate to Texas that I began touring with Lowrider Magazine and Tejano Tours car show circuit as a performing artist. During that time I honed some of the business and personal communication skills that still carry me to this day. Since that time I have registered with ASCAP as a writer and publisher and began my own publishing company, Jordan Smif's Hitz, and have successfully published two of my own albums as well as work for other artists.
