I'm a researcher at the Centre for Computational Biology of Mines ParisTech, Institut Curie and INSERM.
My research revolves around the development of statistical data mining and machine learning tools to facilitate the development of new therapies, with a particular focus on precision medicine.
During my PhD I worked on chemoinformatics problems (molecular similarities, virtual screening, molecular properties prediction, reaction prediction, docking). My current research focuses mostly on the other side of the coin, namely the search for the genetic determinants of diseases. In particular, I am interested in the (possibly structured) selection of multiple genetic loci associated with a phenotype and the integration of partially available data for biological prediction. In machine learning terms, I mostly work on (structured) feature selection in the p<<n setting.
