Claudio Silva

Greetings, I'm Claudio. I'm a Doctor in Mechanical Engineering with 25 years of experience on Engineering Simulation Software. Nowadays, my activities focus in on the convergence of Machine Learning and Computer Aided Engineering.

I have developed general-purpose large scale Computeational Fluid Dynamics software since 2002. From 2002 to 2006, I was chief designer of a CFD solver that integrated the research efforts from teams of the eight largest Brazilian universities and Embraer. After that, my company Thorus Scisoft developed the 3D high order Discontinuous Galerkin FEM based CFD solver Pegasus.

I am also the lead developer of the open source Manticore framework simulation of PDE 2D systems (https://bitbucket.org/cantao/manticore).
