Christopher Adams

My name is Chris Adams and I am one of the founding attorneys at Adams & Bischoff, LLC in Charleston, SC. Since 2007, I have been operating my practice to serve clients with a range of criminal law needs, ranging from DUIs to assault charges.

Before I started my own practice I spent 15 years as a public defender after graduating from Georgetown University in 1992. I have spent my career fighting for my client's rights while further developing my skills and my knowledge. My work has also been recognized by my peers as I am now the President of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. I was also selected by Superlawyers in 2016-2020 for Criminal Defense in South Carolina.

In addition to serving my clients with various criminal charges such as DUIs, assault, drug crimes, and gun offenses, I also spend time educating fellow criminal lawyers at National Criminal Defense College. I have also served as an adjunct professor of law at Emory University, Georgia State University, and the Charleston School of Law.
