I am nineteen years old from Gastonia, North Carolina! Gastonia is a little town right outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. It's wonderful being so close to a big city, and it was an ideal place to grow up. My mother is a nurse who is currently trying to get re-certified, and I am super proud of her. My father is a gastroenterologist, which is a fancy way of saying a stomach doctor. My major is Musical Theater. I have been acting since I was five years old, and have been in over thirty plays and musicals since. I truly don't think I could survive without it. I'm also extremely interested in film and casting, so I hope to one day possibly become a huge casting director in New York City...that is, if I don't succeed in performing. I also love reading, reality television, and headbands. My headband collection is a little disgusting it's so massive, but I wouldn't trade any of them. My friends say that I'm "quirky", which is a title I wear with pride. To me, quirky is an interesting kind of different, and I'd rather be an interesting kind of different than an interesting kind of same. I recently learned how to play the piano, so I've started writing my own music, which is exciting. I have two sisters, Lauren and Kristin. Lauren is a twenty year-old junior at North Carolina State University. She is an art and design major, but hopes to go to grad school for film. My little sister Kristin is sixteen and a junior in high school. She hopes to go to college for zoology, completely different from her other two artsy sisters. She's always been one to set her own path. I also have two pets, Teddy the Cockapoo and Elvis the Maine Coone. Elvis weighs in at a whopping twenty five pounds and is mean as spit, but I love him all the same. I'm Roman Catholic, and that has played a huge part in my life. We are friends with a few priests who are near and dear to my heart. My favorite food is probably Mexican food, but I love all food so it's hard to choose. Also, I can fall asleep pretty much anywhere, anytime. It's a wonderful gift when I'm waiting for a plane or just need an afternoon nap. It's a curse when I'm riding the subway at 10:30 PM and miss my flight.
