Carlos Mesquita

I am currently a undergraduate student in the Mass Communications program at San Jose State and will graduate from SJSU with a BS in Advertising. Originally from Brazil, I grew up with an interest towards music, food, soccer and foreign cultures. My interest towards soccer allowed me to focus my blog topic on the history of soccer in the United States because once I migrated here from Brazil I wanted to understand the history and the impact of the game through the American public point of view. Soccer is a hobby and passion that is very close to my heart as I grew up playing and watching the game and I wish to learn more about it by doing this blog.
