There's more to a person that what's written in their CV.

I define myself a professional silly person - nerd whisperer - wannabe surfer - geek friendly - highly caffeinated Hawaiian at heart.

I like to cheer people up and make people feel ad ease, life is complicated enough without stressed and grumpy people. I believe in hard work that it should be rewarded, and also that we should not take ourselves too seriously.

I try to remember (but it's not always easy) that it takes no particular effort to be dismissive or even mean, but it takes a lot of effort to be kind an understanding when you are under pressure, but it always pays off.

When the situation calls for it I am stern and firm in my position but I don't like to resort to these measures if a conversation can be kept light hearted.
