Cahyo Afianto

I'm an audio engineer currently studying for my BA (Hons) from SAE Indonesia. I'm also the head audio engineer for Jakarta Movement of Inspiration, which is a youth movement focusing in musical theatre.

I find music very interesting in the way it became an extension of emotion. It can convey the emotion of an artist/musician, and evoke the emotion of its listener. My interest in music comes from an early age with the influence of my father and brother. I also play guitar, percussion, and gamelan as a hobby.

Audio on the other hand, deals with the technical aspect of music itself. In a way, audio is the hidden side of music. This is what interest me to study about it. To support that, I study audio engineering at SAE Indonesia and after getting my diploma, I now have an in depth understanding in music production especially in recording, mixing, and mastering.

My other interest is in photography and photo editing. I started learning photography since 2008 and still doing it until now. I did not specialise in one type of photography, but i love shooting landscapes and outdoor portrait.
