I began playing the piano at an early age followed by the violin and bass guitar. I gravitated to lead guitar in my teens, playing in blues and prog-rock bands in London, England. After returning to the United States, I continued to study and perform on guitar, bass, and keyboards, learned to play drums, and took time off to raise a family.
