Hire me

Growing up in Brampton, Ontario, I attended a Regional Arts Program with a specialization in Dance alongside my academic studies and was involved in both arts and athletic programs. I was in a Dance Company, choreographed show pieces, and had a starring role in The Nutcracker. I was the president of our Athletic Association and took part in several sports including Cross Country, Nordic Skiing, and Track and Field. My accomplishments in academics, arts, and athletics include being awarded an Ontario Scholar Certificate, an Arts Letter, a Scholarship for Leadership in Athletics, and the Athletic Merit Award when I graduated.

After high school, I moved to Sudbury to attend Laurentian University. I am currently in my 4th year of study taking a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Education in the primary/junior divisions.

To expand my repertoire I spend my summers as the Camper Coordinator, where I oversee the inclusion program and challenging behaviours. This inspired me to look more critically into ways I can help and support children through education, and driven me to pursue additional qualifications and experiences in Special Education.

I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher, and have actively sought out opportunities to learn more and gain experiences that will assist me in helping my future students. Around five years ago, I started learning Sign Language as a way to make my teaching more inclusive. Throughout my experiences, I have gained a passion for education and am eager to share my knowledge with the next generation.
